Music of Rod Stewart

Prior to his solo career, Stewart recorded with guitarist Jeff Beck. He then went on to sing with The Faces, formerly known as The Small Faces,after singer Steve Marriott left the band.

As a side note, the guitarist playing with the faces (and on Stewart's first albums) was Ron Wood, who a short time later became the lead guitarist for The Rolling Stones, a position he still holds. He ironically holds the "How to play a guitar" book in the cover photo of First Step below.
